I must apologise for my delay in updates to Rachel Online, I am in the process of moving house and haven’t been able to get online as much as I would like.
With a big thank you to Fi for sharing this information with us. The ITV has reported that Rachel with have a role in their new WW2 drama Home Fires.
The drama follows a group of inspirational women in a rural Cheshire community with the shadow of World War II casting a dark cloud over their lives. The isolated village couldn’t feel further away from the impending bloodshed and battlefields and yet it is not immune from the effects of war. As the conflict takes hold, and separates the women from their husbands, fathers, sons and brothers, the characters find themselves under increasing and extraordinary pressures in a rapidly fragmenting world.By banding together as the Great Paxford Women’s Institute, they will help maintain the nation’s fabric in its darkest hour, and discover inner resources that will change their lives forever.
As you can see, I have uploaded two brand new layouts to Rachel Online. These were made by the lovely Mel of Wonderland9 and I really love the shoots she chose to use don’t you? The site has been in desperate need of a more permanent look for a long time now, so I’m glad to say I’ve finally got one up!
I am still fixing up the sidebar and pages to match and look pretty so bare with us until all of that is done.
As always keep sharing your thoughts and Rachel news in the comments for everyone to read!
A couple of days ago the Highway to Dhampus trailer was released via their official Facebook page. You can watch the highest quality version of the trailer at the page here, or I have added a slightly lower quality version to this post for you to watch directly.
If you visit the movie’s Vimeo page you can also find several interviews with Rachel on the set of the film, I will add all of these videos to the website soon!
Happy Birthday to Rachel who turned 24 on August 17th. Siobhan and I have been quite busy but will be updating more now. There are some lovely pictures of Rachel and Jeremy reunion floating about and it’s nice to see them still friends after all these years.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!
10 YEARS ONLINE!
10 years ago today this website was started. I had no idea that it would last this long, but I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has visited it and supported the site during that time – particularly to Sa!
Hopefully I will be able to get a brand new look up at the site to celebrate, but until then – Happy Birthday to us!
With a big thanks to Sa and Tayna for bringing this to my attention and sharing the photos, we know that Rachel attended a dinner that fashion company Whistles held for the launch of it’s newest menswear range on the 30th April. I have added 3 photos from the event to the gallery.
So, technically this photo is not new, as it was taken in 2011, but it is new to our eyes. I have added this very artsy piece by photographer Paul Farrell, taken in London, to the gallery.
Edit: Thanks to our wonderful friend Janice for the second image untagged.
Filming for Rachel’s film Second Origin has now finished and I have added the final collection of photos from the set to our gallery. It is not clear yet when or where the film will be released but we will hopefully hear some news regarding its release soon.
